It is difficult to work in environments like pollution control and waste processing and hence materials need to work hard. There are naturally dangerous and corroding substances that need to be deposited, moved and processed. Therefore the alloys utilized in waste-processing systems must have outstanding resistance to reducing acid solutions and oxidizing resistance, as well as resistance to the high temperatures involved in operations without losing structural integrity or strength. One such alloy is Inconel C-276, which has outstanding resistance to corrosion in these kinds of environments.
